“In this day and age, saying that you want to ‘give back to the community’ sounds like something everyone is saying. The fact is that when I received my specialist credential in 1972, I could have settled almost anywhere. But I made a conscious decision to return to the area where I was born and raised to start my own practice. Today, after all those years of providing oral healthcare for the people in Oakland and Alameda, I am proud to be a part of this community.
“My lengthy experience is an asset to all my patients, for there is a high probability that, regardless of the oral condition of my patient, I have seen it before and know what works and what doesn’t. That experience has also proven to be valuable when it comes to giving patients the precise information they need to be comfortable.
“I understand why some patients may feel nervous about having a root canal. I am here to assure my patients that root canals can be performed relatively quickly and gently, so they can get on with their lives. My day is made many times when a patient looks at me and tells me that it was easier than they thought. That type of care is my goal for every patient.”
